LADI is the Principal Partner and the brain behind the visionary leadership at Ladi Ajose-Adeogun & Co. Before setting up the firm in 1990, he worked for the oldest and most reputable law firms in Nigeria of Irving & Bonnar Solicitors and Bentley Edu & Co. as an associate respectively; his responsibilities were essentially corporate and commercial law practice, Trademark matters, Maritime law, Civil Litigation and general counsel.
His area of specialization is in corporate and commercial law practice with a bias in International trade contracts, mergers and acquisitions, joint venture projects and maritime law. He was involved in procuring the First telecommunications license for a private operator and assisting with the drafting of Inter-connectivity Agreement which still subsist till date. He is registered with the Security and Exchange Commission, Nigeria.
Ladi has participated in major joint venture projects particularly in the Oil and Gas Industry in Nigeria both in the upstream and downstream sectors. He is currently involved with one of the newly licensed marginal fields in respect of negotiations and drafting of the Farm-out/Financing Agreement etc. between the respective parties.
He has written several proposals to the Lagos State Government on ways to streamline the cumbersome procedure in the perfection of Land in Lagos State, most of his proposals have been adopted and the formalities of implementation are being worked out.
He is a Notary Public of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
